Prof. As. Adrian Leka, PhD, është Profesor i Asociuar në Fakultetin e Drejtësisë të Universitetit “Luigj Gurakuqi” në Shkodër që prej vitit 2013. Interesat e tij studimorë janë procedura penale, kriminologjia dhe historia ligjore. Përveç karrierës së tij akademike, ai ka ushtruar profesionin e avokatit që nga viti 2012 dhe aktualisht shërben si Kryetar i Bordit Administrativ të universitetit.

Punimet e tij mbi drejtësinë penale, dënimet alternative, edukimin ligjor dhe të drejtat e njeriut në procesin penal janë botuar në revista prestigjioze ndërkombëtare dhe prezantuar në konferenca në mbarë botën. Ai është autor i disa librave, përfshirë “Drejtësia penale” dhe “Alternativat ndaj dënimit me burgim në Shqipëri - Një përmbledhje krahasuese”. Puna e tij kontribuon në formimin e mendimit dhe politikave ligjore në Shqipëri dhe më gjerë.
