ARBEN HOTI është pedagog në departamentin e PSIKOLOGJ & PUNE SOCIALE, fakulteti SHKENCAVE TE EDUKIMIT, Universiteti i Shkodrës “Luigj Gurakuqi” që prej vitit 2006. Ai ka eksperiencë në mësimdhënie dhe kërkim shkencor në fushën e Psikologjise, Pune sociale dhe Edukimit dhe titullar në lëndët “Hyrje ne psikologji”, “Psikologji personaliteti”, “Keshillim psikologjik”. “Psikologji stresi”, “Formim psikologjik”, Keshillim individual dhe grup”. Ka marrë pjesë në projekte shkencore, konferenca dhe publikime kombëtare e ndërkombëtare. Interesat e tij kërkimore përfshijnë psikologjine, psikologjine klnike, personalitetin dhe psikopedagogjine.. Ai ka eksperiencë akademike dhe kerkimore 20 vjecare, eksperience profesionale (psikolog klinicist) 20 vjecare si dhe eshte autor/bashkeautor i disa librave/teksteve universitare dhe shkollore
