Pranvera Kraja është pedagoge në departamentin e Mësuesisë, Fakulteti i Shkencave të Edukimit, Universiteti i Shkodrës “Luigj Gurakuqi” që prej vitit 2005. Ajo ka eksperiencë në mësimdhënie dhe kërkim shkencor në fushën e edukimit dhe titullare në lëndët: Metodat e kërkimit në edukim, Pedagogji 1, Kuadri ligjor në aftësinë e kufizuar, Kërkimi në mësimdhënie, Teori edukimi, Menaxhim klase. Ka marrë pjesë në projekte shkencore, konferenca dhe publikime kombëtare e ndërkombëtare.  Interesat kërkimore përfshijnë hulumtimin në arsim, trajnimin e mësuesve, kurrikulën në arsimin fillor dhe të lartë, mësimdhënien online. Ajo është anëtare e stafit editorial të: "European Journal of Education Studies", "Universal Library of Arts and Humanities", “Universal Journal of Educational Research", David Publishing Company; trajnere e mësuesve të APU-së për MAS, eksperte e vlerësimit të jashtëm në ASCAL. Ka qenë përgjegjëse e Laboratorit të Trajnimeve të Edukimit të Vazhduar për disa vite. Aktualisht mban postin e drejtueses së Departamentit të Mësuesisë.
