Roland Dodani është pedagog në Departamentin e së Drejtës Publike, Fakulteti i Drejtësisë, Universiteti i Shkodrës “Luigj Gurakuqi”, që prej vitit 2015.

Ai ka eksperiencë në mësimdhënie dhe kërkim shkencor në fushat e së Drejtës së Konkurrencës, së Drejtës Financiare dhe Historisë së Institucioneve, si dhe është titullar i këtyre lëndëve. Ka marrë pjesë në projekte shkencore, konferenca dhe publikime kombëtare dhe ndërkombëtare. Interesat e tij kërkimore përfshijnë të drejtën ekonomike dhe historinë e institucioneve.

Ka mbajtur postin e dekanit të Fakultetit të Drejtësisë për katër vite; aktualisht mban postin e drejtuesit të Departamentit të së Drejtës Publike. Ai ka eksperiencë të mëparshme pune në sektorin privat si auditor i brendshëm; aktualisht mban titullin e zëvendëskonsullit të nderit të Republikës Italiane në Shkodër.
