The Tourism Department of Economic Faculty is pleased to announce the Shkodra University “Luigj Gurakuqi” Conference on Tourism, which aims to provide a scholarly platform for critical reflection, knowledge sharing and collaborative solutions among academics, professionals, policy makers and the community.
As tourism faces rapid digitalization, growing demands for sustainability, and a shift toward a more meaningful and responsible travel experiences, this conference invites critical reflection, innovative research, and practical insights into shaping the future of the sector.
This conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary academic platform for scholars, researchers, and students to critically examine emerging trends and future pathways in tourism development. By bringing together diverse perspectives, the conference seeks to explore how tourism can evolve in ways that are innovative, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable.
Call for Papers
The organizing committee invites original research papers, conceptual studies, case studies, and review papers that address current issues and future directions in tourism. Submissions from undergraduate and postgraduate students, early-career researchers, and academics are also welcome.

• Abstract length: 250–300 words
• Keywords: 3–5 keywords
• Format: Word or PDF
• Language: English & Albanian
