Scholarship Opportunity - Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, Latvia

Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, in cooperation with Shkodra University “Luigj Gurakuqi”, offers 4 scholarships for academic staff to participate in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP): Innovation Co-creation Laboratory 2025 – Challenges in Sustainable Food and Beverage Technologies, taking place from 24th to 28th November 2025.

These scholarships are offered within the framework of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program, financed by the EU. This program enables staff from the University of Shkodra to attend the BIP at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences.

Who can apply?

Full-time academic staff from the University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi” working primarily in the fields of Nutrition, Food Chemistry, or Food Technologies.

Requirements?

· Must be employed as full-time academic staff at the University of Shkodra.

· Scholarships are tied to the successful participation in the Erasmus+ BIP at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, 24–28 November 2025.

· Candidates should have B2/C1 English language proficiency and be proactive, motivated, and interested in developing their professional skills with a view to long-term engagement.

· Candidates must not have previously benefited from any scholarship at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences.

· Research or teaching work plan (for one week)

· Letter of intent (motivation and focus for participating in the program)

· Certificate or self-declaration of English language competence

· All documents must be submitted in English

Selection process

· First stage: Applications will be assessed by a selection committee at the University of Shkodra.

· Second stage: Final approval of selected candidates will be made by representatives of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences.
