All program applicants will go through the selection process that takes between six to nine months. The selected candidates will be able to start the program in the Summer of 2027.

Fulbright Foreign Student Program 2027 – 2028 - U.S. Embassy in Albania
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program is a one to two-year degree program for young professionals and university graduates interested in pursuing a master’s degree in the United States. Fulbright scholarships are awarded competitively in a merit-based process.
- Master’s degree program (1-2 years) for young professionals and university graduates.
- Applications are open to all fields of study, including Business, Criminology/Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Information Sciences/Systems, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Public Administration, Public Policy
FULBRIGHT VISITING SCHOLAR PROGRAM
Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program 2027 – 2028 - U.S. Embassy in Albania
The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program is a three to six-month non-degree, post-doctoral award program for junior and senior researchers, university lecturers, and experts from academic and research institutions in Albania to conduct research and/or lecture at a university in the United States. Fellowships are merit-based and awarded competitively. The duration of the program (3-6 months) will be determined by the U.S. Embassy based on available funding.
- Research/lecturing opportunity (3-6 months) for Ph.D. holders at U.S. universities.
- Open to all fields (determined by ECA).
