The University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi", Faculty of Social Sciences, The Department of Linguistics, and the Department of Literature in cooperation with the University of Belgrade, the Faculty of Philology, and the Department of the Albanian Language organize the International Scientific Conference "Cultural Meeting Points in the Balkan Area".
The conference will be held on December 11, 2023, on the premises of the University of Shkodra
Purpose of the conference:
The conference aims to bring today's reality and the inherited one to protect the common cultural future in the Balkan area in language, literature, history, cultural heritage, media, etc.
Study axes:
a. tracing the common points and identifying the special ones: the coexistence between them,
b. building a culture of dialogue,
c. culture as mediator and bridge for development,
d. national identities in Balkan multiculturalism.
Research papers must be related to the axis topic on one of the levels mentioned above. They should not have been unpublished before. Topics that do not meet this criterion will not be accepted.
Time limits:
The conference will be held on December 11, 2023, at the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi". Themes and Abstracts of up to 300 words are submitted by November 15, 2023 (rrezarta.dracini@unishk.edu.al) . Abstracts should contain the theme and purpose of the paper, the research background, the methodology as well as its results.
